Knowledge is of no value unless you put it into practice.

Exercises are often overlooked once an emergency plan has been developed and finalized. However, plans left to sit on a shelf may become irrelevant or potentially dangerous if they provide a false sense of security. Exercises are a means to validate your emergency plans and test the adequacy of policies and protocols in a risk-free environment. Aside from actual emergencies, exercises are the best means of evaluating an organization’s capabilities, and yield findings that inform how to refine and update your emergency plans.

Many of our clients engage with us to develop a multi-year training and exercise schedule. This is the cornerstone of a robust and resilient emergency management program. By engaging in exercises that gradually increase in complexity, an organization can systematically build their emergency response capacity.

Below is a list of emergency exercises and complementary services we have executed for our clients:

  • Full scale exercises
  • Functional exercises
  • Table top exercises
  • Virtual table top exercises (developed in response to COVID physical distancing requirements)
  • Inject development
  • Drills/Rehearsal of Concept drills
