Law Enforcement

Emergency response and critical incident response teams conduct regular training, drills, and exercises to prepare for large scale emergencies. Emergency scenarios incorporate various aspects of emergency response, and provide an opportunity for all personnel within the critical incident team to practice their roles and duties. By maintaining a regular, ongoing exercise schedule, teams can address any gaps in advance of a real emergency.

Case Study

Cerberus 03

In 2016, Ally orchestrated one of its most expansive exercises to date, Cerberus Strike, in collaboration with the RCMP and numerous affiliate organizations. The simulation depicted a scenario involving multiple coordinated terror attacks perpetrated by a fictitious organization. Additionally, the exercise featured several ‘white noise’ events—emergencies akin to the primary crisis but unrelated to it. Preceding Cerberus Strike was Cerberus Rising, a tabletop exercise conducted by Ally earlier in the same year to lay the groundwork for the larger simulation.
