Full-scale Exercise

Exercise MATCH BOX was a full-scale exercise centred around an uncontrolled release of pressurized sulphur dioxide. With the incident site located at Global Container Terminal, the incident escalated with the threat of a sulphur dioxide gas cloud making landfall, north of Tsawwassen, which would have triggered an evacuation of portions of Delta.
