Rocky Mountaineer Train Derailment

The aim of the exercises was to increase readiness for a significant train derailment involving numerous passenger casualties with wide ranging injuries. The exercises focussed on a simulated train derailment on the “Journey Through the Clouds Route”, north of Kamloops and just south of Blue River, BC. The exercises engaged 14 external entities and over 100 players and controllers.
