Marine terminals are complex, high-traffic hubs where cargo moves continuously between ships, trucks, and trains. With such dynamic operations, the potential for incidents – ranging from hazardous material spills to equipment accidents or security threats – is always present. That’s why emergency preparedness isn’t optional; it’s a critical component of safe, efficient terminal management.

Case Study: Westshore Terminals
Tabletop Exercise
As a continuation of Ally’s commitment to bolstering Westshore’s emergency readiness, a Table-top Exercise (TTX) centered on spill response was conducted in the latter part of 2023. This exercise not only fulfilled regulatory obligations but also bolstered mutual comprehension and collaboration among stakeholders and emergency responders. Furthermore, the TTX served as a valuable training platform for utilizing onsite spill kit resources effectively.
