Tabletop Exercise
On Tuesday, June 7th, 2022, Sun Peaks Resort organized a Tabletop Exercise, drawing representatives from Sun Peaks Resort, Sun Peaks Municipality, Sun Peaks Fire Rescue, and Tourism Sun Peaks. The scenario simulated an interface fire incident near the Sun Peaks Elementary School and the neighboring Sundance Estates.
The primary objective of the exercise was twofold: to conduct a TTX with essential partners in readiness for potential wildfire incidents during the summer of 2022, and to enhance ongoing emergency response capabilities progressively.
