Background
As a retired senior officer with the Canadian Armed Forces, Tyrone‘s career spanned 33+ years and encompassed a broad series of roles and responsibilities. Well-versed in all aspects of planning and training development, Tyrone has designed and executed complex and dynamic exercises. He also brings wide-ranging experience in numerous provincial and national domestic emergency management responses, including significant contributions to management of the 1998 Quebec ice storm emergency.
Tyrone possesses vast leadership experience in international operations, illustrated by his role as the Canadian representative to the International Housing Commission in Bosnia, and as the Secretary of the Mission Review Board for Regional Command South Headquarters in Afghanistan. Tyrone also deployed on a year-long tour as a United Nations Military Observer where he was a Team Leader in the Golan Heights, Syria and Chief Operations Officer, Sinai, Egypt.
Additionally, Tyrone has extensive knowledge in various training systems; having served in the planning, delivery, assessment and command functions within the Canadian Armed Forces and externally.
